Phuc Van Pham received his Ph.D. in Human Physiology from Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. He is currently a Professor of Biology at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh and Director of Stem Cell Institute, Vice-Director of Cancer Research Laboratory. He is a longstanding lecturer and translational scientist at the University, and is a member of several societies focused on stem cells and immune cell therapy. Dr. Pham and his colleagues have established one of the first multidisciplinary stem cell centers in Vietnam, and he has successfully launched an array of technologies in stem cell isolations, expansions and cryopreservations. His research interests include stem cell biology and therapy, cancer stem cell biology, and immunotherapy. He has published 200 papers and book chapters in reputed journals and book series. Now he is serving as Editor-in-chief and editor of some reputed journals (indexed SCIE/Web of Science, Scopus) and book series (published by Springer-Nature).

Alexander E Berezin is a Professor (full) of Medicine in the Division of Internal Medicine at the University of Zaporozhye. His clinical expertise is heart failure & biomarker prognostication. His research areas of interest are heart failure, hypertension, atherosclerosis, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, stem and progenitor cells, extracellular vesicles & prognostic models. Dr. Alexander E. Berezin has received PhD in 1994 in the State Medical University of Zaporozhye (Ukraine). His research goals are fundamental study of biological markers, the development of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation. Based on this research and training in heart failure he has received several awards and honors. He has a regional and national profile. He has published 1050 papers and more in reputed journals, 57 books/chapters and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.

Sharmila Fagoonee is a researcher at the Institute of Biostructure and Bioimaging of the National Reseach Council at Molecular Biotechnology Center in Turin, Italy. Her current research interests are: In vitro differentiation of adult stem cells in functional hepatocytes and assessment of their engraftment in vivo in animal models; correction of metabolic diseases of liver with stem cells as platform for gene therapy; Liver diseases and extracellular vesicles: search for new therapies and biomarkers. Currently, she is Editor-in-chief of Minerva Biotechnologica (indexed by SCIE, Scopus).

Rinaldo Pellicano, Molinette and San Giovanni Antica sede Hospitals, Turin, Italy

Rinaldo Pellicano currently works at the Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Molinette and San Giovanni Antica sede Hospitals, Turin, Italy. Rinaldo does research in Diagnosis and Treatment of several gastrointestinal and liver diseases. The main actual interest is the management of Helicobacter pylori infection. His current research interests are: Role of Helicobacter pylori infection in the pathogenesis of gastroduodenal and extra-gastroduodenal manifestations, Hepatitis C virus (HCV) and its role on liver and systemic diseases. He is author of 557 publications. Currently, he is serving as editor, associate editor and member of editorial board of some reputed and high-impact journals such as  Panminerva Medica (2000-present), Minerva Gastroenterologica e Dietologica (2000-present), Minerva Medica (2016-present), and International Journal of Celiac Disease (2013-present).

Badrul Hisham Yahaya, Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (IPPT), Universiti Sains Malaysia

Badrul Hisham Yahaya received his PhD in regenerative medicine majoring in lung tissue regeneration and repair from University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is currently the director of Animal Research and Service Centre (ARASC), Universiti Sains Malaysia and the visiting Professor at Xinxiang Medical University (XXMU), Henan Province China. He serves as Editor-in Chief of Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (JBCS) and editorial board members of various international journals and books focusing on biomedical and regenerative medicine. He is also active council members of various professional bodies. His research interest is in understanding of the mechanisms that underlay disease mechanism in the context of pre-clinical setting prior to be evaluated in a clinical application, disease modelling, cell therapy, extracellular vesicles as source of cell-free therapy, cancer stem cells and his group is the first to develop aerosol-based cell therapy for the treatment of lung diseases.

Ena Ray Banerjee, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India

Professor Dr. Ena Ray Banerjee is a Senior Professor of Zoology, Principal Investigator and Leader of the Translational Outcomes Research Group, and Head of the Immunobiology and Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory at the Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India. She previously served as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Medicine, University Of Washington School Of Medicine, USA (2003-2007), and as a Senior Investigator at Advinus Therapeutics Pvt Ltd, Pune and Bangalore, India (2007-2009). She is the founding Director of BioConsort Consultancy and Research LLP, and is also the co-founder of Consortium for Life, a multi-disciplinary network of academic and non-academic professionals working on various applications in the health sciences, environment, education and healthcare. Her main research interests are immunobiology and regenerative medicine in the context of zoology, biomedicine, the life sciences and biotechnology, with a focus on drug discovery and translational research on developing technologies for bio-prospecting and healthcare, nutraceuticals, tissue engineering and nanotechnology. She has received various prestigious awards, notably the R.K. Sur Memorial medal, The Zoological Society of India award, and the Anupama Ullas Somman award for valuable contributions to Women’s Empowerment (from Calcutta University BCW cell and Turnstone Global). She has more than 25 years of teaching and research experience in academia and industry in India and the USA.
